Frequently asked questions
What does a waste-to-energy plant need from its water system?
Availability above all. The incinerator runs continuously, so a leachate system that loses capacity becomes a constraint on the whole site, not just on the water plant.
What recovery is achievable on incineration leachate?
Around 90% of the flow returned as reusable water, with the remaining 10% crystallized into salt. The route is described on our leachate solution page.
Do you treat the fly ash as well?
Yes. Seven fly ash recovery sites are under construction in Shanghai, recovering sodium chloride and potassium chloride from incineration residue.
How many municipal projects has JINGYU delivered?
More than 100, of which over 50 run the full chain from biological treatment through anaerobic and aerobic stages, MBR, nanofiltration and advanced polishing.
