Nine coal chemical plants, and we still run most of them
Coal to liquids, coal to gas, coal to olefins, methanol and coking. Every plant below carries a capacity, the salt it recovers and the year it started.
Coal chemical ZLD projects
When JINGYU entered coal chemical wastewater, and what the company has learned since. Two or three paragraphs in the client's own words, not a technology description.
Suggested: the year of the first project, what was difficult about it, and what changed in the approach as a result.
What nine plants taught us
To be supplied — one sentence, the single most important lesson from this sector.
To be supplied — around 80 to 120 words setting up the three points below. What goes wrong on coal chemical brine when it is treated like ordinary industrial water.
To be supplied — the conclusion, around 50 words. What a client should take away from this record.

Frequently asked questions
How many coal chemical ZLD projects has JINGYU delivered?
Nine, spanning coal to liquids, coal to gas, coal to olefins, methanol and coking. They range from 1,440 m3/d to 43,200 m3/d, and most are operated by JINGYU as well as built.
Which is the longest-running plant?
Yitai fine chemicals, in service since 2018 and running continuously for over eight years. It remains the reference clients ask about most often.
What salt do these plants produce?
Sodium chloride and sodium sulfate, crystallized separately and produced to Chinese national standards. Several projects sell into chlor-alkali and detergent markets under off-take agreements.
Can I visit one of these plants?
In some cases yes, subject to the client's agreement. Tell us which project interests you and we will ask.
Are full case studies available?
Yes, covering feed water analysis, process configuration, guarantees and operating results, subject to each client's confidentiality terms.
How do these projects relate to your coal chemical solution page?
This page shows what has been built. The solution page explains why coal chemical water behaves the way it does and which process packages address it.
