Frequently asked questions

How large can a mine water plant get?

Baijiahaizi is designed for 3,000 m3/h of mine water, treated alongside 1,700 t/d of domestic sewage. It is the largest by design capacity in our record.

Does JINGYU own any of these plants?

Yes. Hongqinghe is a build-own-operate asset, and the first mine water ZLD plant in China. Hetaoyu is a three-station outsourced operation contract.

What is recovered from mine water?

Mostly sodium chloride and sodium sulfate. The ratio depends on the ion balance of the specific mine, so the separation route is chosen per project.

Is domestic sewage treated in the same plant?

Often yes, on its own train. At Baijiahaizi it runs through pretreatment, biological treatment, MBR, nitrogen removal and disinfection.

Can I visit one of these plants?

In some cases, subject to the client's agreement. Tell us which project interests you and we will ask.
