Frequently asked questions
What recovery do these plants achieve?
Around 90% of the leachate returned as reusable water. Reverse osmosis contributes 74.5% directly and the concentrate stage returns a further 15%.
What happens to the last 10%?
It goes to evaporation and crystallization and comes out as sodium chloride and potassium chloride. The evaporator condensate returns to the reuse loop.
Why are there two concentrate systems?
Because the two concentrates fail for different reasons. Nanofiltration concentrate is limited by refractory organics, reverse osmosis concentrate by scaling, so each gets its own package.
Can these systems be retrofitted?
Usually yes. Most existing plants already have biological treatment, nanofiltration and reverse osmosis. What they lack is the two concentrate stages and the crystallizer.
How many municipal projects has JINGYU delivered?
More than 100, of which over 50 run the full chain from biological treatment through anaerobic and aerobic stages, MBR, nanofiltration and advanced polishing.
