What makes an industrial park water system different?
Several tenants discharge into one plant, each with its own effluent. Mixing them means treating clean water as if it were dirty, so the design begins with which streams to keep apart.
How much water does the Yinchuan scheme save?
Over 500,000 tonnes a year, and it supplies around half of the park's industrial water demand from reclaimed water.
What process does it use?
Ultrafiltration, two-pass reverse osmosis and MVR evaporation and crystallization, with salt separation on the concentrated brine.
What was JINGYU's scope?
Process equipment procurement, installation, commissioning and the associated electrical and control work, rather than full construction.
When does it start up?
Construction began in October 2023 and startup is scheduled for December 2025. The status shown on the project card is kept current.
